Big Update Announcement!

We’re thrilled to announce a major update that will greatly improve weapon roleplay for everyone worldwide! This system is currently in Beta, but it’s designed to ensure a smoother, fairer combat experience for all players—no matter where you are.

Because of Second Life limitations, we can’t automatically detect your viewer ping. Instead, you’ll set it manually just once, and the value will remain saved in the database.

Introducing Matrix Tick – a new system that simulates FPS-style combat using tick rates, similar to popular games like CS or Call of Duty. By default, the setting is 22ms, but you can easily adjust it:

  • Press CTRL + SHIFT + 1 to open your viewer’s statistics monitor.
  • Look for “Sim Ping” to see your ping value.
  • Then simply touch your head, go to Settings → Ping, and enter your value.
  • A step-by-step guide with pictures will be included in the manual soon.

This update addresses one of the biggest frustrations: aiming directly at an avatar and still missing. With Matrix Tick, combat will now feel much more accurate and responsive.

Please remember: this is still in Beta, so there may be occasional bugs with different latency values. If you encounter any issues, report them to me directly. Together, we’ll fine-tune the system and make it amazing!
